Sheet dimensions

The sheets are sawn to size with the intention of being further processed by you. The sheets have an excess of 5 to 10 mm compared to the ordered size.

Where types of wood have a grain direction (channel direction in the case of corrugated cardboard), this always runs parallel to the longest side of the board. This applies to all dimensions except 60 x 40 cm, where the grain direction runs parallel to the short side.

Please note that the thickness of sheet materials can vary. This has to do with the way they are made. For example, our acrylics are cast and thickness differences of a few tenths of a millimeter can occur from place to place. MDF, on the other hand, is pressed and varies much less in thickness.
