Extruded acrylic

Special variant of acrylic that varies less in thickness.

Characteristics
Crystal clear plastic that is UV resistant. The laser-cut edges are crisp and neat. Extruded acrylic is also called XT (from extruded). It is made by extruding sheets, producing a more stable thickness than casting, which is done with other types of acrylic. Engravings are not clearly visible on extruded acrylic. Piece numbering is possible with line engravings, but for logos and other visuals, it is better to use our normal acrylic.

Applications
Extruded acrylic is mainly used in the medical industry, consumer products and mechanical engineering. It has a professional look and does not require any finishing. Some examples of applications: - sliding promotional objects - drawer dividers - models - front sheets of appliances
