Please note; The maximum thickness of this material that your laser can cut depends on your laser power. Thicker plates require more power!

This material is suitable for your diode laser!
Not all materials can be lasered with a diode laser, but this one can. We have extensively tested this material on our own diode lasers and found it to work great. LaserGrade diode wood gets a clean brown edge after lasering (instead of a black charred edge) and LaserGrade diode plastic gets a smooth kerf without burning.
Please note; The maximum thickness that your laser can cut depends on your laser power. Thicker sheet require more power!

Description
A relatively hard type of foam with a professional appearance.
Characteristics
This material is known from the flight case industry, where it is used to line the inside of transport boxes. It has closed cells so it does not let liquids through, floats and is resistant to chemicals. It is slightly harder than an average mattress.
Applications
PE foam is widely used to create inlays for suitcases or tool drawers. Additionally, it serves as an original material for company logos and signage, or for customized packaging. The thickness also makes it easy to craft layered sculptures and sectional models.
