Not all materials can be laser cut with a diode laser, but this one can. We have extensively tested this material on our own diode lasers and approved it.
Please note; how thick your laser can cut this material depends on your laser power. Thicker sheets requires more power!
A hard, fast-growing wood species with a distinctive appearance. These sheets consist of laterally glued ('side pressed') strips.
Properties Unlike plywood, this is a solid sheet. The outer layers of the bamboo stem are glued together in narrow strips to obtain this sheet. The bottom and top sides of the sheet are identical, and the surface is hard and smooth. Bamboo is stiff and tough in line with the grain direction, but susceptible to breakage along the grain.
Applications Solid bamboo is used for, among other things, enclosures, shop displays, and front panels.
