Not all materials can be laser cut with a diode laser, but this one can. We have extensively tested this material on our own diode lasers and approved it.
Please note; how thick your laser can cut this material depends on your laser power. Thicker sheets requires more power!
A soft cardboard with a yellowish tint and subtle texture. Houtboard engraves beautifully and leaves no residue after laser cutting.
Properties Houtboard is comparable to greyboard in most aspects, with the major advantage that it laser cuts much cleaner. We therefore recommend it as an alternative to greyboard for model making.
Applications Houtboard is widely used in scale models, models, and graphic work.
