Note: the color of this sheets varies by batch between dark gray and black. There can also be small brown fibers in the wood.

The sheets are sawn at approx. 17 x 30 cm or 40 x 25 cm. The saw margin is with this sheets +/- 1 cm so the sheets differ slightly from each other. You can order them in bundles of 10 sheets.

Black MDF is a through and through colored variant of MDF, Medium Dense Fiberboard. This sheets are 3mm thick. Compared to normal (brown) MDF, this species is slightly stronger, has a slightly higher density (heavier) and can stand a little better against moisture. 

For example, use it for laser cutting logos, artworks, lettering, housings, boxes, molds and much more. 

Black MDF is easy to laser cutting, although you will have to laser a little slower than with normal MDF. The edges can release light after cutting; You can remove this with a damp cloth. Of course you can also saw and mill it.
