Start easily with laser cutting and engraving using the Starter Pack: Diode Lasers 10W. This pack has been carefully assembled and tested, specifically for diode lasers with 10 watts or more. It's perfect for beginners who want to experiment affordably and discover what their machine can do. Thanks to the varied selection of materials, you can try out different applications and develop your skills.

You can cut all these materials with any diode laser. If you have a 20W diode laser, this is also a great pack to start with. For 5W diode lasers, some sheets in this selection may be slightly too thick.

All sheets in this pack are 20 x 30 cm in size.

Why did we create this pack?

This pack was developed for beginner laser cutters with a diode laser from 10 watts upwards – and it’s also a great starter kit for 20W lasers. We chose thin, easy-to-cut materials so you can get started without frustration. With this varied selection of sheets, you can experiment, get to know your machine better, and find out which materials suit your projects best.

Our goal? A practical and educational starter pack that makes your first steps in laser cutting and engraving easy. With this diverse selection, you can explore all the different possibilities of your machine. Whether you're a hobbyist, working on small projects, or simply curious about what your diode laser can do – this pack includes all the sheet materials you need for a successful start!

Which materials are included in the starter pack?

• Bamboo plywood: Unique as a type of plywood, this bamboo is less prone to breaking. Bamboo is highly popular because of its beautiful wood grain. In this thickness, it’s ideal for cutting with your machine.
• Linden plywood: A very light wood, both in color and weight. Because it’s so light, a laser beam can pass through it more easily.
• MDF: Thanks to its homogeneous structure, MDF allows the laser beam to pass through evenly, unlike wood types with knots. It is also easy to post-process.
• Laserboard: Perfect for 10W machines because it is thin and strong. The level of detail you can achieve with laserboard is exceptionally high. The cut edges develop almost no soot.
• Engraving plate ABS: Fun colors and strong engraving contrasts. A true 10W diode laser material – you can create neat finished products quickly by engraving through the colored layers, such as nameplates.
• Neoprene foam rubber: A technical foam often used for sealing rings, but also great for creative experiments.
• PE rigid foam: A hard foam type that can be cut up to 10 mm thick with your 10W diode laser. For example, create a neat custom inlay for your toolbox with this material.

Package update
The engraving sheets in this bundle are now available in gold, silver and bronze. Previously these were yellow, black and silver.

LaserGrade

All materials in this pack are LaserGrade Diode and therefore suitable for laser cutting with diode machines.

We selected materials that are easy to cut, with thicknesses that a 10W laser can handle effortlessly.
Diode lasers with higher wattages can of course cut these materials as well.
