Not all materials can be laser cut with a diode laser, but this one can. We have extensively tested this material on our own diode lasers and approved it.
Please note; how thick your laser can cut this material depends on your laser power. Thicker sheets requires more power!
A hard, fast-growing wood species with a distinct appearance. This sheets consist of side glued ("side pressed") strips.
Properties Unlike plywood, this is a solid sheet. The outer layers of the bamboo stem are glued together in narrow strips to make it sheet obtain. The bottom and top layers of the sheet are the same and the surface is hard and smooth. Bamboo is stiff and tough in line with the grain direction, but prone to breakage along the veins.
Applications Solid bamboo is used for enclosures, store displays and front panels, among others.
