This plastic is specially developed for engraving and consists of two layers of contrasting colors. Variants with a black core also work with diode lasers; variants with a white core are only suitable for CO₂.
Properties
The engraving laminate is perfect for durable, high-contrast, and detailed engravings. With a laser cutter, you can directly cut out outer shapes and mounting holes. This ABS laminate consists of a core and a thin top layer; during engraving, the top layer is removed, resulting in clean, easily readable engravings.
Note: may discolour in direct sunlight.
