Not all materials can be laser cut with a diode laser, but this one can. We have extensively tested this material on our own diode lasers and approved it.
Please note; how thick your laser can cut this material depends on your laser power. Thicker sheets requires more power!
Sheets with real ash veneer on both sides and an MDF core. Easy to use, strong, and decorative.
Note: this material used to be 4 mm thick and is now 4.4 mm thick.
Properties The ash MDF core has a light, natural appearance with a subtle grain structure. The ash veneer is perfect for a modern, fresh look without much post-processing.
Applications These sheets are particularly suitable for creating modern furniture, stylish lamps, contemporary product displays, and robust packaging. They also provide an excellent base for precise architectural models and scale models.
Advantages of veneered MDF Veneered MDF offers a stable and consistent base, combined with the attractive appearance of real wood veneer. The consistent thickness of MDF makes it ideal for precise laser cutting, enabling complex and detailed designs. The ash veneer provides a fresh, modern finish to any project.
Engraving Line engravings on the ash veneer are clear and high-contrast, making them highly visible. Surface engravings are possible, but due to the thin veneer layer, it can be more challenging to do so without damage.
