Some acrylic quality marks explained

Before you switch to choosing your ideal plexiglas sheet, It is good to explain a few quality marks. You have already come across them, but what does GreenCast, Eco Cast and LaserGrade precisely?

  • GreenCast is a cast acrylic made of 100% recycled plastic. It is as qualitative as not recycled acrylic and can also be recycled again.
  • Eco Cast Acrylate is actually the same as Greencast, but it has a different quality mark. It is of high quality, recycled and can also be recycled.
  • LaserGrade is a quality mark that gives you the certainty that the material (here the perspex) is suitable for laser cutting and engraving. All materials by Lasersheets have this quality mark and therefore also our plastic sheets.
