Description
This plastic is specially developed for engraving, featuring two layers of contrasting colours. Based on acrylic (PMMA) instead of ABS, this sheet is colourfast and suitable for outdoor use. It’s ideal for both laser cutting and engraving.
Sheets with a black core are suitable for CO₂ and diode lasers. However, sheets with a white core are only suitable for CO₂ lasers, as the white layer doesn't absorb diode laser radiation effectively.

This engraving material is an acrylic laminate (PMMA) made from two layers: a core and a thin top layer. When you engrave, the top layer is removed, revealing the contrasting colour underneath. A shallow engraving depth of 0.08 mm gives you fine, crisp, and clearly legible results.
Premium or Economy? Our Economy engraving laminate is an ABS laminate – it’s cheaper, but it can discolour in direct sunlight. Premium engraving laminate is made from acrylic and is UV-resistant, so its colours remain stable, even outdoors. If you're using a diode laser, pick a black-core variant for either option. If your work needs to look great for a long time or be displayed outdoors, then Premium is the better choice.
Beyond laser cutting and engraving, you can also saw, drill, punch, glue, print, and mechanically engrave this material. It’s temperature-resistant up to 80°C, shatterproof, flexible, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

These engraving laminates carry the LaserGrade mark for CO₂ lasers. Black-core variants are also suitable for diode lasers; however, this isn't possible with a white core, as the white layer transmits diode laser radiation.
