Description
Moisture-resistant white wood glue.
Suitable for:
For moisture-resistant (D2) bonding and laminating of almost all soft, hard, and exotic wood types. This adhesive can be used for well-fitting, non-load-bearing wooden constructions employing various wood connections, such as finger joints, dovetails, mortise and tenon connections, dowels, and springs. It is suitable for indoor applications like doors and furniture in living rooms and offices. Additionally, it is designed for surface bonding of wood, soft hardboard, chipboard, plywood, MDF, paper, cardboard, and board. It is also suitable for laminating veneer and hard plastic sheet (HPL; Formica, Duropal, Resopal) on wooden surfaces. The D2 classification indicates suitability for indoor spaces where increased relative humidity occasionally occurs for a short period, with the wood moisture content remaining lower than 18%.
Processing
FOR USE:
Processing conditions
The temperature of the environment, the adhesive and the materials to be bonded may not be lower than +5°C. Relative humidity up to 65%. Wood moisture content between 8% and 12%.
Surface preparation
Surfaces must be clean, free of dust and grease and fit well. Oily types of wood degrease with a suitable cleaner.
Tools
Fine-toothed glue comb (1 mm), brush, roller or glue spray installation, clamp or press.
Dilute
Dilute only with water.
Consumption
5-7 m²/kg, applied on one side, depending on the nature of the materials.
WHEN USING:
Instructions
Apply the glue thinly and evenly to one or both parts using a fine-toothed glue comb (1 mm), brush, roller, or pneumatic glue spray installation. Allow the glue to soak in for a few minutes. Assemble and clamp or press the connection within 6 minutes.
Points of attention
Watch out for deterioration of metals (e.g. parts of pumps/machines). Use acid-resistant components for mechanical processing.
AFTER USE:
Stains/residue
Remove wet adhesive residue immediately with water. Dried adhesive residue can only be removed mechanically.
Storage conditions
Store in tightly closed packaging in a dry place at a temperature between +10°C and +20°C.
